Positive camber on '90 TurboII?

I've got a '90 TurboII (it's currently got the engine out), and it's got a good amount of positive camber on the two front wheels (mostly on the front right), and apparently slight negative camber on the two rear wheels.

I already pulled the wheel and it doesn't LOOK like any suspension components are bent, but you never know.. you know? I already checked that the previous owner didn't put a camber plate or something in.. I just don't know what might be wrong, and where else to look to see if this is going to be a problem. The body DOES seem to be fairly higher up than normal (like there's about 3" of space or more) , but even if I sit on the shock tower (170 lbs) the camber really doesn't change.

Any ideas about what could be the problem?

umm, put your engine in and it'll change when lowered.

that's what I was figuring on, but I wanted to be sure, because right now I'm just sitting here waiting for the engine, looking for something to do.

Typical "problem" with these cars.&nbsp You might be able to induce 1/2&#176 more of negative camber by rotating the struts.&nbsp You might be able to induce 1/2&#176 to 1&#176 is negative camber be taking advantage of the "slop" in the front suspension.&nbsp If you need more negative camber than that, I would recommend front camber plates.

When I helped my friend change his brake pads and rotors, we jacked the car up and put it on stands on all 4 corners. When we were done we set it back down, and it was sitting very high. A lot higher than usual anyway. Even with both of us sitting in it it was still like this. It took a minute or two of driving to correct the problem, but it did go back to normal. I don't know the 'logical explaination for it,' but I think it has to do with the shocks. His wasn't quite negative camber, but there was no change in weight. I think your problem isn't a problem at all.

I hope that helps.
