Ok I don' know what is up with my car but.. It has had problem after problem after problem. The car floods all the time. It has a new fuel system. New injectors, new fuel pump, new tank new every @*#!ing on the car is new. So it started flooding lately. I haven't had time to install my fuel cut off switch so I have been pulling the wire that goes to the fuel relay to shut it off. Now on the way home my car sputters a few times when goes slow in a high gear (ex: 25mph 4th) it would just cut out some. So I got it home and pulled the plug so it would eat all the fuel and prevent it from flooding. Now it won't restart in fact its not even getting any fuel. Their is no physical damage to the plug or relay so can pulling the plug blow a fuse or something that i don't know about??

the motor is rebuilt and street ported. all emissions equipment is stripped.

If a plug is fouled, it stays fouled. You might wanna try new plugs?

I doubt it is fouled plugs. Because after I got home and pulled the plug I went inside for 1 hour. THen came back out to go to class. The car would fire up every time but then immediately die. Like it wasn't getting fuel. It did the same thing either way. With the relay hooked up and unhooked...

Why speculate when you can check?

Read through this thread for info on the root cause of hot-start problems: https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/looking-car-has-hot-start-problems-499744/.

Hailers suggests a trick to get the ECU to switch to a lower injector pulsewidth on startup.

I went through this whole thing. I had a "gizmo" that would delay the fuel when starting, I had a fuel cut switch. I did everything you have done, 'cept the tank. The only thing that finally fixed it was when Rtek upgraded the 2.0 to the 2.1. Now I can adjust my cranking fuel and it starts each and every time.

Just out of curiosity, when you changed all that fuel stuff, did you change the fuel filter? Sounds like clogged fuel filter to me, or your fuel pump is dying/getting messed up voltage.

I already replaced the tank and the filter and everything. I installed a fuel cut off switch and it still does this ****... I drove one place today and I was there for 1 hour (the magical time it takes it not to start) and I used the fuel cut off switch to turn it off and it started right up! Then I drive it to work 2 minutes down the road and park it at 12:00pm. Once again I shut it off using the fuel cut off switch. It sits till 6:00pm I go to start it and NOTHING. It just cranks and cranks like its getting no fuel and yes I made sure the switch was on the "on" position... I am just exhausted with this car.

Its motor was rebuilt less than 6k ago.. It has new tank, pump, filter and new injectors....

try a new water thermosender?.it is on the back of the waterpump housing.(hidden by the alternator)
that little Part is a Pain in the ***.If it is Unhooked,Bad connection,it Faulty it will flood the car when it is hot.It makes the ECU think that the car is still Cold,so it Gags the **** out of the car when starting hot.Funny thing is,The car will drive fine.It is just Starting up when hot.

It isn't the thermosender. His car would be running rough as ****. I had the exact same thing happen to my s5 when I did the swap into the coupe from the vert. It would be shitty as hell starting when it sat for too long but as long as it was warm or had recently started it was fine to start back up.

I also don't even think it is flooded. More like a hot start issue. I would also check compression.

have you checked the Pulsation Damper for leaks? Mine kinda acted like that, and it was the PD leaking all over the place.

Fuel Pulsation Dampner was removed for a the safer banjo bolt system and the engine is rebuilt and has excellent compression... I am not sure what is wrong.
