porting the wastegate question?
hey guys me again, need some help from you fellow rotor heads. i am still new to the turbo world but i think i need to do this. the car is a 86 GXL with a fresh T2 swap with less then 2000km on it. the motor just for the record has less then 40k on it. Ok so mods are easy to list: straight pipe from turbo pre cat, all emissions removed. that's it. It is an s4 motor all stock with stock turbo. question is im hitting the fuel cut at 5500 rpm in 3rd 4th and 5th but not 1st and 2nd. would porting my waste gate according to http://www.aaroncake.net/rx-7/s4wastegate.htm solve my problem. i have checked everything else i can think of and still have the same problem. what do you guys think. will this stop me from hitting the fuel cut (assuming its over boosting)
Edit: as far as i know if you straight pipe a car you have to port the waste gate to prevent it from over boosting no?
Edit 2: also how many mm should my final port be

How many pounds of boost are you spiking to?
I put a shitty motoria stainless steel 3.5 inch set up with no restriction and ported my wastegate to bigger than the washer thing on the flapper door, then welded a new washer on. I stay at five psi always. Yes......porting will solve creeping issues.
