porting-rebuild

does anybody know where i can find a book or somehting that shows how to rebuild a motor and with what tools, also i would like to port it myself does anybody know where i can find a book or something to do this I learn quick and have auto experience please thanx guys

download an FSM, buy a haynes manual and the www.atkinsrotary.com rebuilding video, and youll have all of the resources you need for rebuilding.

Porting is not something for just everyone to do on their own. You really need some experience with a die grinder, and a nice assortment of carbide bits and sanding rolls to do a good job.

thanks mazdaspeed7 i know porting isnt for the average joe im going to be practicing alot first i was just wondering, by the way whats a fsm and where can i do that

hey mazdaspeed7 i was wondering if by chance you would know where i can get a 4.3 rear end and will it fit my non turbo vert is it a direct drop in or what and thanks for the post i have iluvmyrx7 already i just didnt know i could get all that there thanks for the advice

www.racingbeat.com and www.rx7.com sell the 4.3 gears, but theyre not cheap.
