My battle came to an abrupt stop when the tip bound and snapped the cable in my pencil extension thing. I finished it up with the main dremel tool but that was much harder.
What's the thought on cutting out the diffuser vanes in the exhaust ports? Worth doing, or not really?

Some site's say no. I honestly can not see how they come up with this. Unless maybe they are trying to keep some gas for over lap inside the chamber. Anyways for overall performance no bp is your friend so I been ditching them.

the diffuser is to reduce exhaust noise, i leave them in and port around them but you can remove them for minimal gains.

I cut on it with that carbide blade thing for a good 5 minutes and made hardly a dent in it. So my vote is live and let live Anything that wants to put up that much resistance is a formidable adversary and has earned my respect.
