porcorn noise on idle

I have experimented with Shell, Chevron, 76, Olymic, etc. My 6-port runs the best on 89 Chevron. No more popping.

If you have high miles on those injectors...it's time to get them cleaned.
how is down grading on the fuel octane gonna sold this problem.. turbo engines run way beter and it is recommend to use high octane fuel.. i also have used 105-108 octane, when i had some to spare from the track. and not even that got rid of the poppin'.. but the car ran better (mileage wise and performance wise).
