poping from engine bay

i was racing threw the canyons out here and i was riding 3rd uphill i let off the gas for a sec then jump back on it and POP my engine bay pops and i see the flash under the hood!

what could this be from?? it did it twice and its scary, i dont want to blow anything

looks like you have a turbo II also, do you have a exhaust leak or a crack in the manifold?? i have a nasty sounding leak/crack( still need to take off and inspect) in the manifold and sometimes after letting off i get flashes of light the car near the engine bay, then i get a cool lil blue flame out the tail pipe,

You have a air leak in your exhaust,maybe the exhaust /turbo gasket is leaking.

how can i check to see if somethings leaking? anything you can do for that?

it only happend that one night
