Intake Manifold queston

Sup everyone, i am new so don't flame me please, and if you do be gentile. I was wondering if any one knows a few things. First is; who, if anyone, makes an aftermarket intake manifold for the s5 turbo motor and is it worth it. Second; are the front, intermediate, and rear housings for the 20b cosmo interchangeable with the 13b. I looked but didn't really see anything so educate me please. thanks

Most people who ditch the stock intake manifold go for a IDA-style manifold and twin TB, and put a custom plenum on top. The only complete aftermarket intake manifold I've seen for 13BT's was made in Australia, was very expensive and IIRC added only 30hp to a 500hp engine. In short, not really worth it. You can't make far more power than is sensible on the stock manifold.

I got a question about intake manifolds too, but no one seems to know the answer. If I throw some block-off plates on my lower intake manifold for the valves, what do I do to the vacuum lines that normally ran to that location? DO I just plug them shut?

Sorry, didn't mean to jack your thread.

Yes. You'll need to tee the pressure sensor line (normally connected to the ACV) into the BOV line.

check the archives for removal of emissions. There should be diagrams that show you how to route your vacuum lines.
