poor Idle

hey guys I have a 1987 rx7 turbo model. I bought if off someone who did an emissions delete just for a bit of backstory. when I start the car its starts fine but it idles around 1300 rpms, then after like 5 minutes they start to bounce from 1k to 1300. just wondering what it could be and if anyone can help or has had the same problem.

can you provide pictures? we dont' know what "emissions delete" entails since you can remove all of it or only parts of it.

first thing is to start with the basics. set the TPS, check the timing, idle mixture, etc

How "thorough" was the emissions delete? Is the main vacuum system still hooked up? If stuff is missing, I would check that first, then TPS. Adjusting idle with BAC screw should be reserved for after you've checked the other stuff.

The BAC controls the idle, lots of people complain about the idle quality suffering after the BAC. I would put it back if you have it otherwise you're gonna have to dial it in once it's warmed.
