Having issues with idle: It just wont Idle

Alright well after 6 months of toying around and working on my 1988 Turbo Rx-7, I finally got it to run.

I start the car up after unflooding it, and it starts up, loud because it has no exhaust but back to the point. So when I start it up it idles at 2k RPM, then if I dont give it some gas, it will drop out of the RPM's and just die... Dont know what the issue is but it happens repeatedly. I would say I have tried everything but really dont know where to start to fix this issue b/c I lack enough knowledge about the rotary engine to figure out what the issue is.

Well I guess what I am trying to say is if u have had a similar issue and know how to remedy the situation, please let me know. If u would like to come and help me remedy the situation in person, you are more than welcome to come help. And usually for those that come out their way, I treat to dinner =). Well once again Please help to get my Rx-7 to be road ready. Thanks for your time.

This is just a guess, so see what you think.

Maybe after working on it, you have fixed the vac leaks that were keeping it idling.
So now when you start it the 3k fast idle is about 1K low & when thea AWS & fast idle cam back off, the hard stop is too low for the BAC to keep it running.

I'd adjust the idle stop screw maybe 2 turns out and try again.

Of course, the opposite could be true.
You could have a vac leak that's letting unmetered air in and leaning it to stall at idle.

Especially look at the turbo inlet duct mating ends. No cracks allowed.

hmm there might be a slight crack in the Intake piping. Will that cause issues for idle.
