hard to start when hot and idle wont stay

i have a 1988 rx7 turbo II and my car is hard to start when hot and my idle won't stay, it justs drops and kills the engine. anyone got any ideas on how i can fix this problem? thanks guys..

I had the same problem. It was the variable resistor. Now the car idles fine.
