Polishing Rx7 wheels...Need advice from someone who has done it.

I am wanting to polish my 7's wheels...I have seen it done before...What is the best way to do so??With a dremel or with sandpaper...If sandpaper which grit should I use??And exactly how should I go about doing it...Thanks

i would use both sandpaper and dremel. Start with like a 600 grit to get the dings and imperfections out and work your way up to like a 1500 or higher wet sand(water). Then use a ton of elbow grease and some rubbing compound. To finish it off get some mothers metal polish. That stuff is awsome. I would use the dremel only for the polishing and very hard to reach areas.

Man you must have a ton of patience, energy and time!
Why not take them to a metal polisher? A friend of mine just had four 16" wheels polished for about NZ$200, dropped off in the morning, picked up the next afternoon. Much easier!
