I have a question earlier I saw a guy polish his tranny and I've seen a couple people polish there upper intake mainfold ,but what do you guys use to do that what type of bit or tool

For cast stuff with a rough finish I use a relativly course grade flap disc on my angle grinder, then just use finer and finer grades of sand paper until you get the desired look..
