polished T.I.D.? Where?

I always see kits for T.I.D. 's, but they only apply to 3rd gens. Does anyone know where I can find a polished inlet duct for my T2 S5, that is not too expensive. I really don't want to go the home depot route.

Thanx, is this a fairly easy install, or do you have to do some hose routing?, any other places to get a T.I.D.?

It is an exact replacement to the stock unit. It even has the BOV return etc... It's just made out of aluminum.

I would recommend emailing Chris directly with your questions.

nice looking inlet tpeck, it's a shame we have to ruin it with that air flow meter, so how much did the shop charge you, if you don't mind telling.

It is some sort of paint that Bryan puts on his rebuilds. It seems durable- it didn't come off the runner walls easily when I ground and polished them. I haven't given it the heat test yet...

The unit Chris makes is really nice and gave me about 2 psi over the stock TID. Had to adjust my boost controller. Plus it looks sweet.

Did you get that TID from Marshall's. How much did it cost?

I got mine from a muffler shop. They had an extra 3in 45 degree bend laying around. Had to clean it up a bit but it's cool now and only cost 5 bucks.

I think I payed $30 for the polished bend & all the conectors.

I guess it some sort of black paint.. Bryan at BNR did it. I have been running it about 2 weeks now .. hasen't burned off at all ... but I have not been hitting boost yet.

I got my bend from midnight performance in Rancho Cordova.. also I got my A/F meter & Air cleaner the same place, same trip.

That looks like one of Bryans turbos...

I was going to go to a muffler shop and buy a short piece of bent pipe, but I may look into one of the local speed shops to see if I cant find something polished like that...looks nice!
