Polished stock S4 rims

hey has anyone ever polished their stock rims what are the results these are the rims on my s4 would like to know who else has done this

ive been thinking of doing this and it seems pretty easy since most of it is a flat surface i think one of the stock turboII rims are polished from factory.

How is that done? By sanding it with sand paper of successively higher grits?
