PLX gauge splash screen

Hi Gang,
The wife got me a DM-100 PLX gauge and I just finished installation. So far, I really like. Anyway, I made a new splash screen which looks pretty good, if I do say so myself.

If anyone here is using this gauge and wants the splash, I'm happy to share. Just send me a PM and I'll email the .jpg file to you.

(just lookin' to 'give back to the community')

(sorry for the fuzzy pic. it's getting dark and it's hard to hold the camera still enough)

That looks great!

Does the gauge read well in varying temperature and lighting conditions?

Thanks! I was pleasantly surprised, and the photo really doesn't do it justice.

the install is pretty new, so I can't comment on temp differences (just had our first under 90 degree day recently). I can update when the weather gets dicier - which will be soon, I'm sure.

On lighting, it does wash out a bit under really bright sunshine. The project isn't drivable yet, but is planned to be my daily driver when I finish getting all the new stuff in and the ECU tuned properly. Again, I can update when I've driven it around with the new gadgets

Also, going to add EGT, Oil temp and something else YTD in a couple of weeks (birthday coming...)

Thanks for the feedback.

Kel, after our pm I tried to send you a response with my email address. I'm not sure if there is a forum issue but I can not send a response. It says.......

Sorry about that. Not sure what's up, but yesterday I couldn't post or change my settings either, so I put an inquiry into management about what's going on. Haven't heard back yet.

Anyway, I put the file up on my project site and will leave it there in case anyone else wants it. BTW, the project site is new and just getting underway. hope to have it complete in the next couple of weeks or so. At any rate, I may turn it into site for my AE project when the TII one sells; either way, the spash screen will remain here:

Just right-click the pic and select save. You'll get a file you can directly upload to your PLX gauge

Thanks Kel I got it. I had also tried to contact a moderator and he said there might be something wrong with your account. He suggested you contact him.

cool! let me know what you think when you get it uploaded.

I sent the moderators a question on Sunday about not being able to post etc, but didn't hear anything. guess I should try again.

Hi kel,

Who did you contact? I can help you push things through. I probably can't make the changes myself, but I can find someone who can. It looks like your account thinks it is awaiting email confirmation, so people can't PM or email you.

Hi Kent,
help would be appreciated. I used the "Contact Us" link. Never had trouble before, so don't know exactly how to handle it.

Not sure why it would be waiting confirmation, I've been a member for years (a lot of years).

Weird thing, I got the first PM double-J which started our conversation

THX!!
