Plugs very clean, no soot/carbon build-up?
If I remember correctly, my last set of plugs I pulled out of my engine were caked with black carbon.
I just changed my plugs again and they are perfectly clean, if not a brownish, metallic color.
I am basically looking for a verification to my fears that I am running lean. I am not sure how b/c all I have done is removed the cats and a K&N drop-in filter.
Maybe my MOP failed and my only saving grace is that I add some oil to my gas every other tank (2-3oz. with a fill-up).

I fill up anywhere I can. Usually where/when ever the price is lowered.
The plugs are just really clean, maybe it is fine then. I added a couple ounces of oil to my fill up today and no smoke upon start up again. I will look back when I start it cold after work today.
The plugs aren't white, but look almost like a rusty brown. One plug had a slight carbon build-up on it. It was a trailing plug of course.
I will snap some pics tonight and post them for viewing pleasure.
