Question Plugging up AWS no or go?

Hello,
I have an 88TII and my air bypass solenoid valve cracked when I was putting new lines on the car. I am getting another this week but need to drive the car. Can I just plug the lines that went through the valve together for a couple days? Will this Mess anything up. I know it's to warm up the car but will my boost pressure change at all, I don't want to blow it up....lol

Return the one you have coming and just cap off the nipples that feed the ABSV. There is NO USE for the ABSV besides the 3000 RPM cold startup in the morning - that's IT. With it disabled, your car will rev up to about 2000 or so briefly, then settle to 1500 RPM cold, which warms to a 750 idle.
