Plugging a hole in my radiator?
Well I finally found out where I've been leaking coolant from my radiator. There is this hole in some sort of depression in the bottom of my radiator. I think maybe it was leaking on the previous owner and he used a sealant of some sort to plug it up as there was a bunch of gunk around the hole I had to clean up.
Is there a way to seal the plastic up instead of buying another radiator? I was thinking about plugging it with a radiator leak sealant or something and then cover it up the sealant with JB weld for reassurance. Would that work? Or maybe an automotive shop would have a better way to seal it up?
What are your thoughts on this?

If you can work some JB weld in there, you'll be ok.
On another car of mine, I had a new radiator crack on me because I didn't have a rubber bushing installed on one of the mounts. Engine vibrations caused a crack to appear in a plastic portion of the radiator.
I JB welded it and the radiator is still leakproof 2 years later.
PS. Use the slower cure JB weld. The quick cure JB weld is not as strong or heat resistant.

The hole looks too big for radiator leak sealant like Stopleak or Bars-leak. I would get a good used RX-7 radiator until I saved up enough dinero for a new one. I think a used one that doesn't leak will be more reliable than trying to seal the hole.
