S4 TII FMIC question

I can get thsi intercooler from a friend for a real good price. It's brand new. They sell for 299.00 new. This is the web site. What do you guys think?

It may be 1-2" too long, but that will depend on how you mount it, and how much of your car you are willing to cut up. You may want to take measurements and/or build a cardboard mock-up before buying anything.

FYI, the hp and cfm stats on that website are worthless BS. However, the leak test and warranty info are good to know, especially if that is one of those Chinese intercoolers.

They attached it to an NA 550hp V8 with a 800cfm carb, and it worked great!

The core is about 24 inches wide. The end tanks are a couple more inches

If they don't show the inside, it is probably a radiator. I've bought one off of e-bay with the same exterior fins and it had 3 or 4 vertical turbulators versus the average 20 v-shaped ones in spearco or bell intercoolers.

If your friend has it available, be sure it looks like this inside:
