How is the rollcage installed? (Was it done right? It's easy not to....)

And "needs fine tuning" could mean "I spent 5 years trying to figure this bitch out!! I WANT IT GONE!" haha...

But most likely the fine tuning won't be a problem...

Needs paint... how badly? If it's horrible all peeled off and looks like crap, I'd say it's worth $4k... if it's just STARTING to peel in some places... like the window corners... I'd say it's worth the $4.5k. It really depends on how much you care about how it looks.

But trust me if paint is the only real problem and you don't have to drop any money (and more importantly, time) into the car, then that's a sweet deal.

Also, it's a race prepped car with 75k miles... expect that engine to be on it's way out in 25k miles. Unless they just liked cruising down the highway for 75k miles with all that horsepower.

Later.

buy it. It has a different turbo with all of the mods to support it including a re-mapped ECU. The rollcage and seats are usually pricey upgrades and the intercooler and radiator are expensive. This is a deal especially with 105psi on all rotor faces.

BTW I know nothing about turbos except that if you do it wrong they suck hardcore and if you do it right they rock hardcore.

Either way, it's hardcore.

Listen to that guy in the last post though, sounds like he knows what he's talking about if he has an S4 TII... poor S4 owners have to deal with every problem that exists.

Seems plenty cheap for that kind of horsepower.

I'd totally go for it.

Yah at first I thought 680cc secondaries with 550cc primaries seemed too little for ~400+ hp but then I noticed he has 2 extra 550cc injectors

I envy you man. My brother just pissed me off and found an '88 TII with 32,000 ORIGINAL miles from the ORIGINAL owner for $1800. Apparently it was an older guy that had it, died of a heart attack, and his wife is selling it.
