Please save me from motor mount ignorance

My motor mount has this nice tear or cut in it. I can't wrench it around or anything, but I'm guessing it needs replacing. Does it? Can I buy a single one or do they need to be replaced in pairs? How can I tell if it is a regular mount or competition mount?

I just noticed it a day before my engine was going back in

just replace it, look in the for sale section. depending how much power you're putting to the ground, might consider solid mounts

if it is beginning to rip now is the time to replace it rather than later. that is a mazdacomp hardened rubber mount for competition, they cost about $40 each and you can buy and replace them induvidually.

solid mounts are annoying as hell, i wouldn't install those unless you were drag racing the car only....

my guess would be yes but without calling them and asking them i couldn't be sure. i doubt it should matter whether they are identical or not as they all should have the same dimensions.
