Unhappy Please no

180,000 miles

overheated a few times

coolant leaks

battery low (won't start starter, had to push start) from trying to start a hot motor

Came down the road ~35mph in 3rd, droped it in 2nd in a mid turn for a little drift...

motor quit, it just gave up completly, almost like there is no compression/mixture/spark

but there was nothing erratic at all, it just went stopped

I tried push starting it, but it wont hold rpms

Has my time already come? Or could it be the ignition system getting overloaded with the near dead battery?

The overheating I'm sure didn't help anything. Heat is the enemy to these engines....my first idea is to go get a compression check, but I'm sure you're idea of a dead engine is now a reality.

35mph in 3rd? thats really slow, even with the downshift you never would have had enough torque to break loose and drift,

maybe your alternator quite on you, and the battery died, but that would have been a slow kinda power down situation.... check your connections to the posts and get a compression test.
