Please Help Me. I'm DONE!!!
So, lets start things off with...
"I believe my car is CURSED!!"
Anything I fix, right away something else breaks/comes loose/fails even when 10 minutes before it was perfect.
So I finally got my engine running, s5 n/a, but while I'm out driving it the Pilot Bearing ***** up on me a block away, this is after a 15 minute drive. I wasn't upset at this since I did change the flywheel/clutch/pressure plate and forgot to change the bearings. So while I wait for the parts to come in from Mazdatrix, I would go to the garage and start the car just so the battery stays charged and nothing builds up internally. It would idle great, 1,000-RPM on a fresh rebuilt, I can get it lower but the idle isn't as strong, but the only problem was that I couldn't get it in gear. That's fine since my pilot bearing failed, but the key thing here is that the ENGINE RAN AND HELD IDLE.
I get my parts from Mazdatrix, pilot bearing/pilot bearing seal/throw out bearing, and I installed it 2 days ago. Everything seemed okay, the transmission just slid into place while I bolted it up. Fine and dandy. Yesterday I installed my exhaust/driveshaft/starter.
Today, I checked for any vacuum leaks, poured in more coolant, 1/2 a quart of oil and I then thought I was done. Finally done.... BUT!!! When I try to start her, she first started up great but then right away turned off and backfired. Hmm... Now it doesn't even start up as well as it did the first time and backfires 2-3 times then shuts down.
WHAT THE DUCE!?!?!?!
Edit:
And to add, I have the battery connected to a charger right now and I purchased a new starter a day before I took it for a test drive.

Wow... Here is another example of how bad this curse is...
So I go back down to check out the car again, after a rest period to cool off, and I look at the ECU. 1A somehow disconnected itself. How the hell does this happen!? Anyways, I made the connection and now the car sounds like how it was a couple months ago... tries to crank/sputters/dies.
Every once in awhile it seems like I can rev it but the rev is a much higher pitch as if the starter is still engaged. I'm going to check on this later since I found ANOTHER problem...
I look at the alternator and now there is a bit of coolant under it, as in on the engine and on the bottom of the alternator. I'm sure this is bad but how bad is this? I know I can get the leak sealed, once I find the exact location.
HOW CAN ALL OF THIS HAPPEN JUST AFTER A ******* PILOT BEARING CHANGE!??!?!

For example, I had to change a trans in my 88GTU, but we moved the engine so much putting the trans back in the oil cooler lines ruptured. When that happened the oil cooler bolts snapped off due to being siezed.
One thing leads to another.
Besides, when you put fancy new parts in the car, the rest of the parts get jealous and want to be shiny and new as well.
