How do you know you are not getting any pressure? You may have a clogged fuel filter, or the fuel in/out lines are in the wrong order. Do you here the fuel pump go on when you jumper the check connector?

make sure your afm is in the correct position. if it is sideways or the harness is not connected it will prevent the fuel pump from operating.

that is not a very accurate way to tell for fuel pressure. *sigh*

Or made sure you wired your new pump correctly? Or even made sure you just didnt blow a fuse?

it mattered for me. I was trying to test my pump pressure last weekend and i could not figure out why i had no pressure with the key ON and connector jumped. Upon further investigation I noticed i didn't have my AFM connected because i had the TID uninstalled and just laying there as i was in the process of doing the rats nest removal. after i plugged it in it STILL had no pressure. then i flipped the afm to upright(black portion up) and pressure immediatly arrived.

ive always have had my afm on its side, but ill put it the right way and see if it will give me pressure, thanks................but after that , if it dosent work do u guys think it could that blue wire that is on the fuel relay. is it supose to get power when key is at the on position. or is the black and white wire the only one that gets power.

The large BLUE wire at the harness side of the fuel pump connector should get 12vdc when the key is held to START, OR the fuel pump check connector is jumpered and the key is to ON. The large Blue wire should be mating with a black/white connector on the fuel pumps harness plug.

AND if memory serves, there should be a puire black wire that should be going to ground.

so where do i get the power from to power the blue wire. ,,,,that is the wire that is on the +post on the actuall pump right? i used my test light and saw that one side had a pulsing light and the other side had a solid light the other side looked like it had two grounds , but one of them the one that connects to the blue wire connects to the positive post of the fuelpump.

The fuel pumps connector is under the rug behind the left rear strut tower. It has two halves to the plug. The chassis side has a large BLUE wire. That is power for the fuel pump. It mates with a black/white wire in the other half of the plug to feed power to the fuel pump.

There is another wire that goes to the pump that probably shows 12. Its for the dash fuel gauge. I've no pump in front of me and I'm off to work. Bye.
