PLease HELP with European VIN

Hi,
I will buy a II gen Turbo II Cabrio, but I will say when the car was manufactured (to say when it could be hystoryc car in Italy).
I found only info on USA VIN, for european, how does it work?

You should have a sticker inside one of the door-jams that has the manufacture date on it.
