Exclamation please help!!

Okay, so i blew my heater hose the other day, and i think i caught it pretty quick, i shut her off within 10 seconds of the buzzer sounding. The thing is, the hose blew around 7-8k, im not sure if that means anything the local parts shop did not have the replacement hose, so i got one that looked similar(but still way off). any ways, i replaced heater hose, started car, and the buzzer was still going off. the coolant didnt seem to be bubbling from the neck, but i was pissed and dont recall perfectly. i turned the car off looked around for the bleeder, and when i went to start her back up to bleed the system and just wasnt happening. it wanted to start, i think i might have flooded it, but i havnt pulled out the plugs yet. sorry this is my first post, im just trying not to leave anything out. after the car wouldnt start i was looking around by the lower part of the heather hose, and noticed that there was a dissconected ground wire. its located right above the fuel filter(which the previous owner rigged up with tie wire) I have no clue where this goes, and i dont have a manual or i would have checked that. i would love to post a pic, but i got the car towed to a buddies, i can probably get one soon. Any advice would be greatly appreciated..........oo and btw, the last time i got it to start, it did not seem to be smoking too bad just the usual before its warm, so i dont think i blew the coolant seals(at least i hope i didnt)...i just dont understand why i would start 2 or 3 times and then refuse to fire up.

Have you even attempted to deflood it?

Heater hoses and coolant hoses are two different things.

How high was your temperature gauge?

no i haven't done anything to it yet, i had it towed to the family mechanic, he seems to think it is the timing. that doesn't seem to logical to me, but I'm new to the rx. thats where i screwed up, i didnt even glance at the gauge(rookie mistake). But yes it is deffinetly the heather hose, it is the one that goes to the heater core in the middle of the firewall.

Timing????? I wouldn't let him touch anything else : )

The car is probably flooded. Deflood it by removing the EGI fuse under the hood, crank for 15 seconds with gas pedal all the way down. Insert fuse and crank without pressing gas pedal. You will succeed in starting it. If it is severe, you will have to remove plugs and do it all over again....

The buzzer still going off after replacing the hose means you have air in your cooling system. Until you get that air out it will keep buzzing until it drives you crazy. Bleed the coolant by leaving the radiator cap off and running the car in idle for up to 30min until you see no bubbles. Top off fluid as needed.

As far as the ground wire, if it is the one by the oil filter, it goes on one of the bolts that holds the transmission or starter. It doesn't matter as long as you ground that wire somewhere....
