plastic pieces on bottom of injectors
plastic pieces on bottom of injectors
Pulled the primary and secondary fuel injectors out on my t2 tonight, i was trying to pull the rubber seal off the bottom of it and the whole plastic tip just crumbled in my hands. 2 of the other ones did the same thing. Do i have to get new injectors, or can i just buy new pieces for the ends? Thanks...

Remember something mazdatrix said in catalog once about how the seals or something almost always broke when pulled out and that the sold new ones.....I can't remember exactly....but I hope it is as simple that 4 u...good luck
Any fuel injection shop worth their salt will put new pintle caps on any injector that it services.
You should also get them cleaned and tested while you have 'em out.

I got my injectors done. They tested them twice once before cleaning and once after. Got all new caps and o-rings and they even painted mine. I got them back in a week. Would have been sooner but I sent them out just as the blackout hit
I'm going to be selling her soon so i'm trying to spend as litlle money as possible. Had to pull the intake off cus it had a hellafied vaccum leak. Any body wanna buy a black 87 T2??? Body is crap, but its gonna run like a top when i'm done....

Last time this question was posed, I mentioned that the dealership doesn't even have a part number, atleast down here they don't. A later reply said that Mazdatrix does carry those, as 89t295k mentioned.

At least at Kesworth Mazda, in Kitchener Ontario.
I don't see why just that one dealership would only be selling pintle caps.
