Planning to un-do my rats nest delete
So basically I deleted all emissions a while back, and of course it wasnt really worth it. Seeing as I'm trying to sell my car, I would like to make it pass smog again. I wanted to know if a s5 rats nest would fit on an s4? If not, can the solenoids be swapped from one to the other?
Also I was wondering if I can run the oil injection off of another vacuum supply, instead of buying that expensive vacuum spider.

You don't need to buy that particular vacuum spider.. You could look in the local junkyard for a similar one, or just go to autozone and pick up a generic vacuum spider..
I don't believe the S5 and S4 components match up, but a look at the S4 and S5 FSM's should give some hints as to what might work between versions. The solenoids might work between versions though.. Another member may know more on that particular subject.
Good Luck.
