Pissed Off After Turbo Rebuild
Hey Guys
just gotta new engine bout 7000 km ago.. same time got turbo rebuilt.. didnt fully kick in turbo till full break in.. first off it ddint boost much . took it back. mechanic forgot to connect the wastegate.. after connecting wastegate, turbo berly goes.. only hits 5 lbs in 3rd gear.. leak of somekind?its white around exhaust manifold bolt.. or something else as well? and also heard forgettin to connect wastegate runs down the turbo bearings and seals.. i have intake and rb turbo back exhaust with proper fuel mods.. what should the boost pattern be?
thanks

they probbaly did a good jop porting the wastegate when it was rebuilt?? it "should" only be running 5psi. that is what a boost control is for. to raise it.
