piolt bearing adapter???

my brothers car rx7 1989 gxl the clutch was acting funny so i took it apart, and i seen the piolt bearing was just destroyed the little needles are everywhere, and i was using the haynes manuel as a referance, and it says for the piolt bearing that i need a slide hammer and a special adapter found at auto parts stores, does anyone know what the special adatper is? any help would be very nice...thanks

Yeah I also went to Autozone and borrowed the pilot bearing puller and slide hammer it was little to big to fit in the bearing so I filed the end of the puller just a bit they never noticed it worked just fine
