Pinhole in radiator What can I use?

What can I use to fix this? How will that stop leak **** affect it? I've used it before with good luck, but better ask before I try the ole" school stuff on the rotary. Thanks!

You know that if you overheat a rotary even once, it could be the end of the engine, so keep your cooling system in top condition. Take your radiator to a shop to have it fixed properly, and if they say it can't be repaired, buy a new one. It's money well-spent. Don't use the stuff that you pour in the radiator to stop the leak. Do it right - You'll be glad you did.

FCGizmo - I saw that on Mythbusters! It worked! That made me laugh.

BigPimpin - agreed with others. Just get it taken care of properly. Cooling system and brakes are both items I wouldn't want "band-aid" approaches on. Better to have a good radiator shop see if they can fix it. If not, just buy a new one. You won't need to worry about it for many years after that.

rofl^^^^....at any autoparts store they should have a radiator repair kit. it kind of like an exhaust repair kit, but instead of hi temp tape you use JB weld, basically its a few pieces of metal screens that you stick on there with this tar stuff and let it dry and then jb weld over that, it will hold permenently. this wont work if its a hole in one of the rails but it will work if its a hole on one of the upper or lower resvior points. if there is a hole in one of the rails i would just get a new radiator they're a pain in the *** to fix CORRECTLY and if you have someone else do it, it would be cheaper to buy one used or new anyways.

Definitely don't recommend the stop leak ****. Used that on my nissan one time and one of those pellets fucked up my water pump. Ended up blowing the freeze plugs because temp guage didn't work *cry*

Maybe put some JB weld over the pinhole? Temporarily anyways. I've seen the **** used on stuff that gets hotter than a radiator.
