pilot bearing trouble

this is the 3rd pilot bearing ive done on a rx7. I have the correct puller and the first 2 came out more or less with normal resistance. Ive got one now that is pushed all the way to the back of the hole. I cant get any grip whats so ever i cant even feel a ridge with my finger. Ive tried heat, grinding it out , collapsing it with a punch . using the puller, everything. anyone else have some wisedom on what i can try ?? im looking for anything .

If you try this it may work. Using wheel bearing grease, pack it into the pilot bearing with a clutch pilot tool. Keep packing it in with the pilot tool and the hydraulic pressure should push the pilot bearing out. This works for lots of different cars, although it is slightly harder with roller bearings like ours.

This is a little extreme, but may be your best bet.
