pil pressure gauge (stock) stuck at 4.

Oil pressure gauge is stuck at 4 kg/cm^2 when i bought the car.

It was unplugged so i plugged it back in. It works, but doesn't go lower then 4.

Is there a way to adjust it? I'm assuming its somehow getting a constant signal as it -never- drops below 4. As if it was the starting point.

My old s4 (this is an s5) didn't send out any signal hen the the snesor was unplugged...

wierd ~~

These oil gauges/sensors are known for crapping out on our cars. Your best bet is to now buy an aftermarket gauge and use that instead.

just get an aftermarket one. They not expensive. They read alot better and faster than the stock guage.
