Nice, alhough I think the hoosiers are to much for autoX.. you won't be able up to get them up the temperature.

I'd say just start out with some open track days, jus take it easy till you get used to they way your car behaves.. After I have gone to a open track day... I never go autoXing again.. it is like two completely different worlds. And driving for 2+ hours a day sure beats 10 minutes.

But your project is looking good. Just take it easy first few times out to figure out all the bugs.

What the!? There are no wires or other squiggly lines in your engine bay. Nice and clean. Good work I say.

looks nice! You might want to have a cage put in, cheesy 4 point or 6 point. Why does your driveside tail pipe hang lower?

Ok, I had a loong night, so I am recovering from my hangover.....I am updating the main post in about 20 min.
So here are some answers.

I used 2 coats of etching primer on the engine bay and interior with 7 coats of Laquer and then 4 coats of clear. It doesnt absorb oil or grease and all I have to do is vaccuum it with a soft attachment and then wipe it with a damp cloth.

I am putting in a rollcage....can't decide between the autopower bolt in...or my friend who is a certified SCCA cage builder make me a crazy setup. All I care about is rollover protection and proper harness mounting.

The autocrossing is held 5 miles away so its great seat time unitll the next track event so thats why I go there.

And last answer...with every emission removed, the haltech really cleans up the engine bay..it isnt 100% done but I am hiding wires and I removed alot of items during the painting process to clean up the engine bay. All I need is the necessities to make it run....evertying else goes in the trash!!

Bigger pictures will be up once I have the images hosted so you dont have to click on the attachment stuff.

Thanks for the compliments!
