why would you want to turn a 20B turbo motor into NA??? specially when the 13B-RE comes NA to begin with? seems a bit backwards to me.............like taking my 13BT and turning it into an NA......

not at all, you can put S5 NA high compression rotors in it and port it a little and easily have like 300 hp....

that and it's about as reliable as an NA FC. which is amazing. someday I hope to biuld an NA 20B FD and daily drive it... that would be sweet.

wait......so lemme get this straight..........

by removing the turbo (what gives the motor the extra power over an NA motor) and replacing it with HIGHER compression rotors and NOT installing the turbo back on there will yield MORE power?

I don't think he was saying it will yeild more power, I think he was just saying it can still be quick by putting in n/a high compression rotors and then put a larg street or half bridge or something like that and still retain alot of the n/a reliability.

yes.... I said port it too. plus you would need an aftermarket ecu. (because your car isn't a cosmo) I think it could easily produce 300 hp.

plus, the 13B-RE did not come in non-turbo, they were turbo too.

that's like buying a 13BT and converting it to NA...........why not just by the NA motor to begin with rather than doing all this work to the turbo motor?

not really, there were no NA 20Bs so you can't buy an NA one...

Man, I've never seen any of your cars. I'm in San Jose too. Do you ever go to any NCDA events?

^no.........you won't see my red one cuz i lost her to an idiot dorifto ricer wanna be who almost killed me (which is why i hate the street racer/drifter wannabe douche bags that I see every ******* day in their gay *** 240's and FC's).......and my black GTUsT....well......i dunno.......I'm not into the whole "cruising" around town parading my car........i like to keep things low key (which is why I'm going sleeper with my FC)....the less ppl know about my car the less interested they are in it..........most ppl think I'm a ricer in an NA with a TII hood( notice how the hood is white THANKS TO JUNPOWER FOR LETTING ME BORROW IT FOR SO LONG AND BEING PATIENT WITH ME IN RETURNING IT)......well, until they hear the BOV.

the few times you'll see me will be when I'm on my way home from and to work.........or the few times when we have a small FC meet in SJ (total of 5-6 FC's)

I think the engine you are talking about is the 13G, witch is a 3 rotor, that is turboed.

Racingbeat is selling a complete race prepped one: http://racingbeat.com/resultset.asp?PartNumber=Engine

So....your rex is your daily driver right? I'm still surprised I haven't seen it. I hardly see any turbos.

Any how, PM about these FC meets. I'd like to meet some of the san jose rex enthusiasts. Thanks.
