Pics of your gauge setup .. and yes i ran a search

I want my gauges to look as close to stock coloring as possible. Also interested in various mounting positions of where they are put out ..Does anyone make gauges that match or do i have to do some clever bulb swapping?

lets see your pictures

Here's a simple approach. Paint the mount black and it would look OEM.

I use the same mount as above except my gauges are above my stereo instead of below.

I use the Autometer Ultra Lite gauges and honest just use the red bulb cover that comes with them and it comes out almost identical to the orange color in the stock gauges.

I like these for a gauge pod. They're very good looking and they put the gauges nice and high, right in your line of sight so that you have to move your eyes the smallest amount possible, and they're farther away, making re-focusing on the gauges faster too. Those are all good things, especially if you're tracking the car, then you can more or less see them in your peripheral vision. Pretty much anythig black with orange, amber or red lighting will approximate the stock gauges pretty well. I like the SAGA gauges that AutoRnD sells because they've got an integral warnings for things like high temp and low pressure, and they'll look reasonably close to stock and aren't too expensive.

I don't like gauges way down low or way off to the side, because they're hard to see while driving, making them mostly for show.

Right to left: Boost, stock gauges, oil pressure, oil temp, fuel pressure. The open hole is for the wideband (backordered...) and I will install another single gauge pod on the a-pillar for water temp. The gauges are AutoMeter Nexus.

Aaron, I really like your triple pod. I definitely think that's a good location for gauges but, like you, don't like the idea of blocking the idiot lights. Was that a ebay generic triple pod that you shaved to fit?

Ive only got water temp right now becuase the stock one is the only one really busted.
Its location doesnt get in the way at all, I can glance at it with the steering wheel straight. I put it there just to keep peering eyes from seeing anything to quickly steal. I have a alum plate under my head unit. I have just been too lazy to install my oil temp and pressure guages.

I'm going to have a single 5" LCD screen replacing my idiot lights, I run a megasquirt so it'll be linked directly through that. I can program readouts about anything I want: EGO, EGO correction, voltage, CLT, IAT, IDC 1 and 2, DC 1 and 2, EGT, tach, etc. It can also display it any way, but my favorite has 4 sliding bars on the right with ~ 7 readouts on the left.

^ Like Mike said, the Autometer Ultralite guages match perfectly if you put the red bulb cover on the bulb (it comes with a red and a green cover). I was messing with the settings on my camera but I couldnt get the pictures to come out just right, but imagine it being brighter than the first pic but not as bright as the 2nd pic. The color still shows good though.

Remember its brighter than this:

...but not as bright as this:

I got the white faced guage just because i like white faced guages, but the black faced guages by autometer might match even better since the stock guages are black. I dont know if they have the same color bulb covers though.

Put mine in the idiot light section.

They work pretty well there.
There are only a few angles where sun comes in and reflects off and I can't view them.

the new style greddy guages (i got mine from RX7.com) are black with orange backlighting. they are a perfect match to the stock guage cluster. Not too bright, but sooooo similar, dont have pics, but take my word for it. THe guages are awesome too.

Does that obstruct the view of the tach as much as it looks like it does in the picture?
