pics - sweet 90 convertible - rare dark blue
You know I like Mica blue, but dark blue is pretty sweet & rare.
Anyway - how many 89-91 convertibles were made? Not many because I mostly see 87-88 convertibles in the papers. Then think about dark blue & a 5 speed stickshift not auto like most white, black & red convertibles - it's probably rarer than mica blue and it's in my state. I'm guessing your looking at probably the RAREST production rx-7 in the USA, even rarer than my 1992 dark blue turbo II, the GTU-S, or the 1987 GTU.
Almost tempted to by it if it were'nt already @ $3800 and 28 bids in the 1st 3 hours of bidding. Wonder how much it will end up going for?

It's funny... I came very very close to buying a flawless 'vert that same color (stock rims tho) from Carmax. It only had 30,000 miles and was perfect! Bad news? $9000 bucks! I refused to pay that much and ended up buying my TII.

woops.
that's what happens when you stare at the sun too long, black looks blue.
so it's JUST ANOTHER black on black convertible. Not rare, not as valuable.

I think mica blue and midnight blue were the only blues available form the factory.
Eric,
Clean TII, but I'm going blind from 10000% contrast and 0% brightness in those pics
Well someday I'll have my 92 TII that emaculent.
