Here you go:

Did the thumbnails expand to fullscreen or did you have to use the URL below to get around the 1/2 screen bug?

Yeah,

I gotta check some Japanese places for the glass sunroof. That would be a killer upgrade.

Probably could have one made too for the same price.

How do you get banded from rx7forum? Was he the dude posting the ****

Excellent post. Perhaps you can get these transfered to, say, Dave's fc3s.org site for posterity.

As to glass moonroof, I have one for 1st Gen '79 (its different) and couple for '80-'85. Mazdatrix usually obtains theirs from wrecked cars as I don't think they make them anymore (I might be wrong here) as is how I got mine.

I drive a Vert as well as a '85 SE so haven't been looking for these for 2nd Gen's. I'll start looking as those definitly should be rebirthed to fellow rotor heads.

We'll try to get the source files (5 MB each) on a shared photopoint albumn for you to transfer.

Once we get all the mags online, I'll get the sources on cd-r for any major sites to use.

The ones in the current photopoint albumn are 150K each at 800x1280 (magazine size). I tried to max the compression/quality as best I could and would recommend those if you want to use them on any site.

I'll give aerodyne a call and see if they can find any glass moonroofs in Japan. I'll also check with victoria british as this is right up there alley. We might can backtrack those adds (page 17) and see if they had any extra stock or who they sold them to.

Great job putting the images up. Cool Stuff. Does anyone have a price range on the glass moon roof? I love the look, but i'm a cheapskate.

Hey vaughnc, would you possibly mind zipping all those images up into one file and sending it to turbo@nothnbut.net? I'll stick them in the gallery here if you do.

Thanks! nice work

It will be a while. Once if get all the FB, FC, and FD (if they exist) volumes scanned, I was planning on sending the major rx-7 sites a cd with the source and resized/compressed pics.

Should have another edition for the FCs up soon.

The BMP files are 10MB uncompressed and 150K jpg files compressed.

I'd pay money for a copy of that CD, should you ever get it together.

Ahh - my life as a media pirate begins. I can post them online for you, but can't sell them sorry

Feel free to rip them from the link above. The actual photopoint albumn has full page 800x1200 pictures whereas the thumbnails above are 640x860.
