nice, but thats the ONLY car that should EVER have white rims on it...thats why im looking for black or something darker.

as for powdercoating them, how does that effect the finish on it? is everything smooth now? even the flat surface?

Everything is really smooth. Kevin had somebody do them who knew what he was doing. I can barely tell that the wheels used to be aluminum finish. He had them acid bathed before it was done, which really helped the paint to smooth out over the entire wheel. The inside of the wheel looks like they came painted stock. Powdercoating is definately the way to go if you want to get your wheels painted.

1SXYRXY had gunmetal'ed his s5tii rims I had thought. Search for it but I am almost positive. It was the best color I had ever seen them, I think that he had also polished the lip. It was truly sexy to say the least.

I'd go with a dark gold or bronze. gunmetal and black are too common.

hey thanks for that link, I think I actually saw that one already, and it didnt do anything for me... I think bronze would be about the only color to look good with red paint...I might try it and i'll post pics if I do.

i think if you really want to do it right you need a set of the 89-91 vert BBS wheels and powder coat them gunmetal and leave the lip silver.
