Pics of my wrecked 7

The other day I was driving home going about 40mph in a 35 going around a slight bend in the road, when this kid in a Wrangler pulls out in front of me. He stops and I slam on my brakes and slide into him with my poor car. Thank God he has insurance, I hate to go through that crap. So anyways here are some pics.

Dont give up hope. It is still driveable. The insurance company will total it out and Ill buy it back from them for a couple hundred $$$. I have a parts car in the garage too, so Ill hopefully have around $1800-2000 to fix my car. Time for some adjustable shocks.

Aaaaahhh!

Sorry, man. You were on your way into the 13's with that thing. Sounds like you have good plans for what to do next, though.

Yeah, I'm with DuX, a pic from a little further back would be helpful. Also, a pic of the engine bay from maybe the passanger side, so we can see the damage it did in there as well.

It didnt really do any damage in the engine bay. It moved the headlight back alittle but thats all. It also shifted the hood over about 1 cm. His car only had a bent fender, but I did manage to move his whole front axle over about 1 inch.

almost the same thing happened to me the other day. Driving along in the xterra, and some guy trys to pull into a neighborhood real quick. HE thne realized there was no way he oculd make it so just stoped in the middle of the intersection. There was no way for me to stop in time, so i did a 40 mph turn into the neighborhood. I though the car was gonna flip. ANyways no damage nothing at all. Just a few curses and apologies.

Relisys190: If you have full coverage insurance, they will cover it. Did the guy who hit it at least leave you a note?

aww thats messed up.....
but if they have insurance make sure it aint no small company because theyll screw u over
cuz some guy fendered me and he goes to a small company for insurance...we both knew that it was his fault soo it took his ocmpany about 2 weeks before they finally contacted me and then after 2 months they send me a letter sayin it was my fault but the thing was is that i had witnesses and they didnt even talk to them.......so then me and my dad took it to our company and they straighten everything out and got somebody fired for making false statements and crap

I'm the the same boat BDoty with about twice the damage. Unfortunately it was my fault and I only had coverage for health stuff and the other car. I'm trying to sell mine...we'll see. Good luck with yours.

Dear Owner of the Car I Just Hit,

I'm writing this note to make the people that are staring at me think I'm giving you my contact and insurance information. They saw me back into you, but I told them I had somewhere important to go, and that I'd write you a note. Sucks for you!
