pics of my project's progress

here's some pics of my S4 TII with j spec S5 block. interior mods are del sol seats(much better than stock), defi boost gauge, gauge holder panel, and almost full black conversion. engine bay is pretty basic just painted black and an efini strut bar(thanks poderrotativo). she needs paint and a new engine, the j spec starts great pulls hard but smokes like a bastard. fmic is in progress, stealth mount and intercooler pipes are going to be fabbed next, but i haven't bought a TIG yet.

Nice work!! Hope to see it at some of the NYRA meets next year! I'm in the process of a TII swap, as well. Don't have much done yet though, just pulled the motor and tranny the other day.

the speedo cable is just really short and to plug it in you need to have baby arms.

Looks pretty nice. Why did you place the boost gauge there though?

i don't like pillar pods and i want a clean looking interior but still wanted it visible. it really doesn't block the tach at all, the needle sweeps around the perimeter of the gauge and you can see all the numbers fine. plus i don't want to spike so i keep an eye on my boost. i was gonna put my wideband there but i got the new ngk afx and the diplay is square so i'll probably put it in the dash somewhere. custom install.. you'll see.

Tell me about the del sol seats. How difficult was it getting them in there? Did you use Honda rails? My brother has a del sol, and those seats are defintely superior to the stock FC seats.

Yes, the hatch cover was an option for some FC's. It doesn't matter what model it came from, they all fit the same.
