Pics of my new FC..

I picked up yet another FC the other week. Its a '90 GXL. Damn nice shape. has ~150k on the body, but has 0 rust, recent paint job, and a few mods. There's 6k on the engine, which was built and streetported by Judge ITO, new rotor housings, RB header, pre-silencer. I put the Greddy SP cat-back on, as well as some comp engine and tranny mounts. Just got a new set of Pirelli winter tires on it today, and cleaned it up and decided to take a few pics. This will be my daily driver, only future mods planned are a LSD rear end and a S-AFC. Also have a set of S5 Turbo2 wheels that will be used for summer tires. Just thought Id share

I paid $3,800. It may seem a bit high, but for how clean it is, plus the rebuild/streetport, I think it was worth it. Runs very nice, and everything works, even normal FC gremlins such as the clock and wipers.

nice and clean, except for those annoying automatic sliding seatbelts. Does the car look that orange in person?

Very nice. You're lucky to have such a well built motor in there.

Only S4 GXLs got LSD. The only S5 N/A to get a LSD was the GTUs.

Not bad I must say it's quite a clean S5. I just got myself a 89' GTU blk/blk and must say I am happy with it too. Good luck with it hope it treats you well.

Yea, Im very happy with the car. By no means did I buy this car to be fast, but it does suprise me. Both my G/F and her brother have slightly modded TSI AWD Talons, and I actually pulled on the one by 1/2 a car-lenth from 40-~100 the other night. Shocked the hell out of me

As for the color, it only looks orange in certain lighting conditions.

Red face

Beautiful! It's nice to see that some people really do take care and preserve these cars. 3800.00 seems like a fair price...here in Florida I've been looking on and off for almost a year and can't find anything for less than 5000. I gave up and bought a fixer-upper 88 RX7 vert being as we have A 89 RX7 vert already. I can only hope after we combine the two ours will look as pretty. GL
