yep not one bit of rust anywhere, garage stored, female owned, tenessee car one owner with 88k

And ruining the car is an understatement

I only paid $1700 for it, my next one i will keep unmolested

I'm only doing this car a favor by putting the bodykit on it b/c it will be the sickest looking fc around here and at the carlisle show this year

My rocker panels are dented up because of people jacking the car up the wrong way, and the lower rear quarter panel is kinked up behind the tire pretty bad. I figured the kit would cover it up better than trying to restore it. However I am at a crossroads about whether or not to mod this one because I would rather spend money in the engine bay instead of on the exterior, and I have been thinking about selling this one for something with a straighter body.

Any suggestions?

What color are you going to paint it once you put the kit on? Same color?

Do you have any pictures

I'd say if you have the money buy a straight car

but as far as dents and crap like that, and the rear quarter being kinked up in, you 'll still have to fix all that even with putting a kit on, Unless it's in the part of the bumper that you'll be taking off.

you have to put all of the factors in and figure out your best solution

Time, Money, Labor

I had a 88 FC N/A and the rocker panels were f'ed up pretty bad, I ended up replacing one but it's such a bitch to do i said screw it with the other side and just got rid of the car. Once rust starts it usually doesn't stop unless you have alot of time, welding skills, alot of new metal and the know how.

Sound nice.. I am going to keep mine stock color to match the engine bay.

See that's the thing I am torn about paying more for a straighter car or work on the exterior. I have the money, but my true goal was to accumulate all of the mods and then to do it up all at once.

Why did I buy the car? Hell I couldn't pass up buying a TII for 1500.00 bucks since it is probably the first one I have seen around my state since I parked mine for the winter!

Impulse shopping I guess

Who am I kidding besides the small dents in the rocker panel and that rear panel area which is all of 10" x 8", the rust on the sunroof and above the windshield, the car runs great and is straight.

I think any TII is worth the money people ask for them. One of the best looking cars in my opinion especially in it's time. I will definetely buy more of them but not until i find another FD TT for the right price.

Yeah all that car needs is some paint and TLC honestly. Dont take an elegant car and make it look ghetto fabulous.
