RX7BEAR: You noted in your other post that you have to weld on the brackets? Did you use the ones from the old cat? Also...do you have stock Y pipe or single cat-back..and do you run headers..or stock precats? How is the 'bolt in' feature (custom welding needed?)

I have an 87 GXL with a rb header/stock y pipe. Im running a presilencer now but damn it smells burns your eyes bad!!! plus Im moving to NC and they have emisions there so I need the cat. I have to get the flanges welded on to the cat any muffler shop can do it. It just has to be 20 inches long. i didnt mean brackets . sorry

That smell lets you know it's working!! Yeah, I get a little light headed when I drive, and the headache....But the sound is WELL worth it for me!!
