The front looks like an 80's Camaro with dual rounds instead of dual squares. The lights themselves are badass, the front bumper is also badass, the hood is a little off where the headlight doors are, and I am along with most ppl on the forum with the tails, BUT you've done amazing custom work to your FC. I'm just nitpickin' man, all in all, it looks good. A little more attention to the hood and it'll look really sweet.

uhhh...uhhh... sh*t I don't know what to say. I saw the first picture and I thought it was going to be another one of those: "I saw this ricer in a parking lot and had to laugh" type stories. Then I realized what it used to be. *Gasp*

I'll repeat what everyone else said about the tail lights...Ugly. The don't even fit on the corners. What about the gaps? The front bumper is very cool, but the hood needs some work so you can't see the lines where the old headlights used to be.

Other than that it's interesting to say the least! I wonder how it looks in person? Pictures never tell the whole story.

I think its tight

At the risk of getting flamed, I'm gonna agree with your decision on the tailights. I think its original for an RX-7, although they do look like Integra lights. I have no problem with that, because I like the Integra. Do you sell your own headlight kit? Shoot me an E-mail if so. The headlights look great, but again you need some clear covers for them. What did you do to get your headlights like that?

How about an underhood pic? I'm curious about the Nitrous install...

Not too much a fan of the mirror... and you know my feelings on the rear. Headlights look sweet, but I agree with the others on the hood. The carbon fibre covering the front bumber looks pretty sweet too.

What lights are those?

This thread sure is a dead man walking! The Nitrous install is done now, but I have yet to get it to the track since finishing. These pics are from before the Nitrous. I am actually doing another hood for my FC next week. This time I am keeping the headlight lids seperate cuz that part keeps F'n up.

all in all I like the car. It looks great. But the tail lights. I'm not a fan of the mirrors either but they are neat looking. I think you did one hellova job on the car. I like the color. You don't see FC's like that everyday do ya. Hell no. The only thing that matters anyways is that you like it cause its your car not ours. I give you major props, a 10 for origionality, and a 10 for personallity. Good job. I wanna see the pics of the Nitros as well.
peace and good fortune go with you,
Charles

Thanx for the compliments guys. I used just a couple sets of typical off the shelf driving lights, that you can find at any parts store. 40$ a pair.

how well do those driving lights work when compared to real headlights? what sorta management do you use? (ie, one on = lowbeams, two on = highbeams)

Let everyone know about CF hoods. What I want to do for headlights is take out the whole headlight assembly. Then put some smaller bulbs where the stock ones were and put some plexiglass over it. I would have to fab. some brackets to hold the bulbs good and tight but I think it can all be done with aluminum.

Body kit Q&A

I'd like some info about the car's body.

1. Who makes that front bumper? That's bad ***.

2. What about the side skirts and rest of the body?

The headlights actually look really decent, and will look better once you go over the hood again to make it smooth where the new seam is(where you welded/molded onteh headlight filler plates) adn add some lexan covers.

Now, tell me those arent the blue, 3.5", walmart foglights? I have a set of those on my s-10. Theyre bright, but I dunno about using them for main source of lighting.

As for the tails, man, you should have just painted the stock s4 tails or something, or at least used something like an mx-6 taillight or something to keep it mazda; you did a great job installing those teg lights, but I just plain dont like them, they dont suit the car at all.

Overall nice execution but some of the ideas are not what Id look to do.

Hey, while you're at it, maybe you should fill in the extra dent in the rear - since you are only running a single exhaust.

I like the idea of molding the hood like that, but I really like my FTP lenses, so I wouldn't do it myself. Hey, Has anyone ever tried to make "99 spec" looking FTPs with a couple of fog lights?

Just a thought, anyways, cool car man!
