PICS of my car- few good DIY mods.

The FTP lenses are made from that mesh grill. Got a dremel and cut holes into the FTP lenses then matched the grill to it. Custom Punch base tube. Swiches ( fuel cut and lights) Sony stereo and Equalizer. Miata shift **** cut to fit. Leather boots. Wheel cover with spikes. Put red carpet. Some I took out one bin and going to put a seat in. the other bin is used for the stereo. Speakers are going to be screwed into the door panes as well as the ones in the rear. I also need to paint them still but everything else is painted anydized red. It came out ok I guess. The S-AFC was a bitch. That glove box has a thick layer of metal in it that I drilled. Other little unoticable mods. The engine bay has silicone vacume hoses everywere even for the oil lines under the manifolds. A rewraped wiring harness in red tape and hose. Some blue. Radiator cold air deflector forced air hose for intake and lots of other mods their as well. Still need the heat shielding and another hole for some more cold air...

Pics of Stereo

That Cold air works really well. The hose goes to underneath the front fender ziptied to the frame. I sprayed some carb cleaner just a tad right into the hose underneath wile the car was idling and the car just died. So it sucks really well. I have to complete the rest of it later. The hood is from a junk yard in Sandiego. Only 150 and ok paint. No dents. Alot lighter than the other and gets cool air into my engine around town.

Nice ride von. It looks like we have the same wheels. Are those Enkei RSE? BTW, can you get a better picture of the FTP with mesh screen. I 'm actually thinking of doing the same thing. Thanks.

Actualy I am instaling and tuning it yo. I had a S-afc that I instaled before but I took it out. Now I have another and didnt want to bother intaling it myself but nowone around here seems profesional enoughf. So far mechanics have done a bang up job on my car wich is why I do alot of the work myself. I even did my own clutch and tranz. To bad my flywheel is glazed.

I agree with the "do everything yourself", but I was referring to the S-AFC being in the passenger's seat, and being hard to reach while driving Just jokin around.

What you did to your Air Intake Is the first of Its kind. As far as what I have ever seen.

Just a comment. Don't you think It's bait placing your S-AFC and Amplifier In very visable areas that may look enticing to strangers?
