Engine bay looks very clean, the battery cover is in place, square, and not broken, seats aren't worn...could be the truth. Wish I could see the pedals. It also has a CD player, which is a majorly rare option for '87....I wonder if it has ABS....that would make it even more rare.

Those mufflers look brand new.

Uh, try $21k for a Turbo II if I'm not mistaken, at their height of course. Nearly $24k for the convertible, I think.
