Wow. The AFM and pumps were what I was thinking of doing.

Now I definitely want to do it.

Watch out for Muriatic acid.(pool acid) also know as hydrochloric. It will eat any and all Aluminum it comes in contact with.

For some fun take a 20oz plastic soda bottle and fill it 1/8 th up with the acid and then jam a shitload of tin foil in it and seal it. Then throw it and watch it bulge out and go BOOM!(warning......contents will be extremely corrosive and boiling hot)

Not only does it eat Al it also creates hydrogen gas in the process.

That would be fun if it burned. When hydrogen gas burns you can not see the flame.

I think you misread my post (or maybe I mis-typed..) I WILL be doing the TB mod, as well as porting it a bit, but will not be doing any porting of the manifolds.

And yes, I remember being younger putting toilet bowl cleaner (That contains HCL) and aluminum foil into a bottle. We would always throw it in the river..and watch it float down by a boat and expload like a depth charge...scared the hell outta people

Its really not all that involved..you just need to clean the **** out of everything. Seriously..you dont want even the smallest amount of dirt, grease, carbon, etc..left on anything. Go out and buy a couple wire wheels and nylon wheel bits for a drill. (In addition to some wire brushed, sandpaper, scotch-brite pads) This is what I use, and they work very well. I probabaly spend between an hour-3 hours cleaning each piece. They need to look like they are brand new. Then I wipe them off with an alchohol pad, to get any grease or oil off, wait about 15 minutes, and give them 3 coats of paint, about 15 minutes apart. Then once they are dry enough to pick up, place in oven at 250* for ~3 hours, and viola.. nice shiney painted parts
