It was a little too thick I ordered from a place called speedy Metals its on E-bay I relocated my overflow bottle and replaced it with one off of my 86 (fits on the fender) I also did away with the safety latch and will use hood pins. This let me use a solid piece. just a cut for hood latch.

SO how are you going to open the hood? You don't have an opening for the lever?

I did away with the safety latch and lever, I will install hood pins for safety. I also relocated my radiator tank and installed one from my 86 (fits on fender) I have an intercooler in front of my radiator and want to route as much air as possible through.
